When heat is the problem

Waterjet cuts cold. There is no heat-affected zone, no tint on stainless, and no hardening at the edge — so a part comes off the bed with the same material properties it went on with.

That matters in three situations: thickness beyond what the laser will take, polished or mirror stainless where edge discolouration would show, and any part that must be machined afterwards without a hardened edge fighting the cutter.

What we make this way

Thick plate profiles

One-off shapes past the range of the laser and plasma beds.

Polished stainless parts

Components for mirror-finish railings where an edge tint would show.

Pre-machining blanks

Blanks cut without a hardened edge, ready to go on the mill.

Food-grade components

316 parts cut cold, with no sensitisation at the edge.
